The Process:
- Contact me by phone or e-mail or using the webform with your basic project needs (i.e. dimensions, location of the piece, general style, structural needs). If you have plans for a design, let me know.
- Based on your needs, I will come up with a quote for the designing process. I will work with you to better understand your budget and what you want. Part of the design process is figuring out how to implement the design. Therefore even if you provide plans there will still be a design fee. See here for minimum design charge.
- Once the design budget is approved, I will provide an agreed upon number of designs to scale with approximate quotes. A site visit is included as part of the design process for free if you are within 50 miles of Eastover, SC. If you like a design, you can ok it and I will provide the official fabrication quote. Once you sign and return the fabrication quote, it will become the contract.
- I will let you know the lead time for the project based on when you approve the design. Times vary. If you wish to change the design before fabrication begins you may, although additional design charges may be incurred. Once the fabrication has begin, it may or may not be possible to change the design and any changes will generally affect both the price and the time to completion.
- The final payment is due upon personal delivery or before shipment. I can install pieces for an additional fee and travel expense if you are more than 50 miles from Eastover, SC. If I am not installing the piece, the shipping is extra if you are more than 50 miles from Eastover, SC.
